Studio L'amour

Studio L'amour is a Wellington-based dance studio specialising in empowering women through the art of dance, burlesque, cabaret and fitness.​​​​​​​​

Studio L'amour classes are made to be loads of fun, and are suitable for all shapes, sizes, and levels of experience! They love building their students' confidence.​​​​​​​​

Fiona Collis

Fiona is an indigenous artist whose expertise is in Māori traditional textiles: raranga, whatu, and whiri. She can extract and prepare materials to produce durable and intricate objects and garments using traditional knowledge and practices handed down by her ancestors.​​​​​​

Fiona was raised in Tolaga Bay and having grown up close to her grandmother her interest in weaving was cultivated at an early age. She attributes her aunt Christina Hurihia Wirihana as being a major influence and mentor in her practice, pushing her to look beyond the boundaries of traditional weaving. Fiona acknowledges her grandmother as being her most significant teacher grounding her in the weaving arts.

Michele A’Court

Michele is a full-time professional stand-up comedian and freelance writer. Work of hers turns up everywhere - on stage, television, radio, newspapers, and magazines. Michele is also a panellist on THREE’s award-winning comedy show, 7 Days; The Project; on Radio NZ National’s The Panel with Jim Mora; and 9 to Noon. She has performed at comedy festivals in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Melbourne and Adelaide.

Michele's memoir/instructional book Stuff I Forgot To Tell My Daughter is based on her hour-long show of the same name. 2018 saw Michele release her second book How We Met, a series of interviews with couples investigating how they met, and how they stay together.

Kell Sunshine

Kelly is a lettering artist, muralist, & illustrator with a big love for Mother Earth. Her creative style is characterised by bright and retro-fresh colour palettes and curvaceous forms, meticulously hand-crafted lettering, and illustrative elements of flora and fauna.

Kelly has been featured in street art festivals throughout NZ and overseas. She has spoken at a handful of conferences including Typism - Gold Coast, 2018. She curated the 2019 activation of Sea Walls - Artists for Oceans Tairāwhiti NZ, bringing renowned international artists together to paint 24 fresh murals. She is also one of 5 directing members of The League of Live Illustrators.
