  • We are thrilled that Marōtini Clements (Waitaha, Kāti Māmoe, Kāi Tahu) will be one of our stallholders at The Muster, with Ka kā wā Confectionery.

Ka kā wā Confectionery envisions a world where people are deeply connected to their whakapapa and the rhythm of the whenua of Aotearoa. Ka kā wā strives to be a beacon for wahine-led businesses that value regeneration, tradition and innovation – bridging the ancestral past with a thriving future through cacao as their medium and confectionery as their canvas. Chocolate isn't just a treat; it's a cultural experience, a medium for healing, and a catalyst for unity and joy. Ka kā wā creates time and space to reignite the inner fire, join them for delicious treats and experience the heart-opening rongoā held within cacao. Their handcrafted, dairy- and gluten-free treats offer a cultural experience that nourishes body, spirit and connection to whenua. Every bar honours Papatūānuku and uplifts mauri, made ethically on Waitaha, Kāti Māmoe and Kāi Tahu whenua with cacao from the Solomon Islands and Papua New Guinea.

  • We’re delighted to share that Amanda Dorset and Lisa Thompson from Wilson & Dorset will be joining us at The Muster with their lush sheepskin range.

From gloriously shaggy bags to playful laptop cases and snuggly cushion covers, it will be your chance to see, touch and feel these beautifully tactile pieces — they invite you to come sink in, have a yarn and experience for yourself why the @wilsondorset tagline is sheepskin reimagined.

  • In 2024, Robyn moved from Rangitīkei to beautiful Papatowai in the Catlins, where she now has a pottery studio. Her work is influenced by the landscape and environment around her – the ngahere and the nearby Tahakopa Awa. She mostly makes hand-built pieces, along with some plant pots and wheel-thrown practical tableware.

Robyn kindly hosted the Shepherdess team during our team weekend back a few years ago when she was still in the Rangitīkei, so we know what a talented potter she is – we were all in awe of her beautiful work – and we can't wait to see her again as a stallholder at The Muster.

  • Joining us at The Muster market is gorgeous Southland-based knitwear brand Davaar.

Founded by Kate Macdonald, a fifth-generation farmer at Davaar Station, @davaar.nz was born from a vision to create stylish woollen jerseys using the farm’s own strong wool.

Kate will be bringing her classic knitwear range to The Muster – giving you the chance to try on and find your perfect fit and colour. In stunning natural colourways ranging from Granite and Tussock to Bark and Fawn, a piece from Davaar is sure to become your new favourite wardrobe staple. Designed, grown, spun and knitted entirely in New Zealand, Davaar celebrates heritage, quality and ethical production — bringing you the warmth, versatility and durability of a truly authentic New Zealand garment.

Kate will also join our business panel, sharing insights into life as a rural entrepreneur and what it takes to build and run a business from her family property in Murihiku Southland. Responding to growing demand for natural fibres, Kate and her parents recognised the potential of the wool grown on their farm to diversify and start a new business.
